Help Obaida Mohammed and his family survive Genocide, Hunger and Displacement

I create this fundraiser to support my friend Obaida Mohammed from Gaza. He is only 19 years old and the sole provider for his family of six after their home was destroyed in a strike that killed his mother. His father needs insulin for diabetes, he has three sisters, and one brother who has the Dow Syndrome. The family requires a new tent. All donations will go directly to Obaida to cover basic needs and emergency expenses.

Here is his statement in his own words :

"My name is Obaida Mohammed. I am 19 years old and living in Gaza with my family after losing our home, which was completely destroyed. On that tragic day, I also lost my mother, and since then, our lives have changed forever.

Today, I live with my father, who suffers from a heart condition, my brother, who has Down syndrome and requires special care and support, and my three sisters. We are all living in a tent that does not provide adequate protection from the heat, cold, or harsh conditions around us. Despite my young age, I have taken on the responsibility of supporting my family, but the burden is greater than I can carry alone.

My brother needs constant care and attention, while my father's health condition makes it difficult for him to work or cope with the challenges of displacement. With severe shortages of food, clean water, and basic necessities, every day has become a struggle for survival.

We are simply asking for a chance to live with dignity and safety. We urgently need a proper tent, food, clean water, and support to cover our most basic needs. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in our lives and help us endure these difficult circumstances.
