My name is Jamil Al-Masry, and at 23 I dream of a better future for my family in Beit Hanoun. Today we are displaced in Khan Younis, living in a tent under harsh conditions after our home was destroyed. I am the eldest of 13, and every day we strive to secure basic necessities like food and shelter. Yet I hold on to a conviction: education is our path forward. πŸ“šπŸŒŸ

I study Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, believing that my studies can help us rebuild and gain independence. But mounting university fees, displacement, and the weight of caring for a large family threaten that dream. My brother Rami needs urgent hip surgery and ongoing treatment, which has been disrupted since crossings closed. My infant brother Fikri needs diapers, milk, and inhalers for chest issues, while our grandmother requires ongoing medical attention. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™

Today I am not asking for sympathy alone; I’m asking for an opportunity β€” to continue my education, to support my family, and to begin again after such loss. Any support, even small, can make a real difference in our lives. Your generosity would help cover basic needs, medications, and university fees so I can stay on course. 🫢🏽πŸ’ͺ

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who reads, shares, or contributes. Your support is the hope that keeps us going. Please consider helping us take this important step forward.

With gratitude and hope, Jamil
