"We are here in this suffering and cannot provide healthy food for our young children on a regular basis. I hope that my children will benefit from this campaign and that our lives will change for the better, thanks to God and then to your help." - Salwa Mahmoud, benefactor of this campaign.

Salwa Mahmoud is a 27-year-old mother of  three children: Ahed who is 7 years-old, Aline-- 5 years-old, and Ayla, only 18 months old.  They live in a rented room costing $400 a month, a sum that is nearly impossible to meet under current conditions.

"We were living very well before this cruel war. Our life was simple and beautiful in a warm and loving home..."

Despite her husband's physical disability, they lived a happy life together and built a home they were proud of. Then, tragically, the war came and the pain and suffering exhausted them. The Zionist entity destroyed their home and their lives. Her children are now without warmth and often without food, which is every mother's nightmare--especially when she cannot help them by herself.

Salwa is currently caring for the children alone while her husband--who lives with a physical disability--desperately seeks ways to sustain the family despite his hardship. Sadly, her husband hasn't returned back to his family for some time with no answers. Salwa's children are too young to understand why they cannot have a warm meal every day, why there is barely any food to be had at all. Especially baby Ayla, born during the war, suffers from malnutrition and needs nutritious food and milk. Salwa hopes that with your help she can:

-pay the monthly rent

-provide milk, diapers, and healthy food for her children, and

-afford them warm winter clothes and clean, warm bedding this harsh winter.

Supporting Salwa and her children will help them secure a safer and more stable home, return her beautiful children to health, and of course aid her in the return of her husband.

From the organizers: We are Kimberly from the United States and Asje Oh from the Netherlands. We manage this fundraiser for Salwa and her children because they can't access crowdfunding platforms from Gaza.  This beautiful family is identity-verified by Asje Oh. 100% of the funds you donate will go directly to them – we cover all fees. In the exceptional case that someone would like to donate an amount bigger than $1000/€1000, please reach out to the organizers before making a large donation.
