Help Umm Omar's children to continue their education

Umm Omar, a 38-year-old married mother of six, lives with her family of eight in a tent in Gaza. After their home was destroyed, the family has been displaced 10 times. Now, they reside in a worn tent that offers little protection from extreme weather. A nearby bombing destroyed their remaining possessions, including furniture and clothes, and injured her children.

Umm Omar's husband suffers from a herniated disc and widespread psoriasis, but the family struggles to afford his medications and creams. Umm Omar herself has a foot injury from shrapnel, sustained during a bombardment, and awaits treatment outside Gaza.

Her children, the eldest being 16 and the youngest 7, face hunger and live in harsh conditions, often going to bed hungry and thirsty. The family sleeps on the floor, leading to skin infections from insect bites, made worse without access to running water. The tent lacks a bathroom, and the family hopes for a new one with better facilities to improve their living conditions. They need new a tent ($800) to shelter them, especially since winter is approaching.

In addition to a new tent, Umm Omar’s children need tuition, stationery, and private lessons to keep up with their education since most schools have been destroyed. The monthly costs for this are:
