Mohammed from Gaza Needs Help to Rebuild Hope

My name is Mohammed. I am a father of five children and the sole provider for my family. I never imagined that I would reach a point where I could no longer provide even the most basic needs for my children.

Because of the war, I lost my job and my home, and I am now without any source of income. I was also injured by shrapnel in my head and lost a significant part of my hearing after a severe explosion that left a painful impact on my health and my life.

But what hurts me the most today is seeing my infant daughter suffer while I am unable to provide what she needs. 💔

My daughter is going through serious health difficulties and needs continuous medical care, treatment, and medication, as well as diapers, milk, and healthy food. Her treatment and medication cost around $500 per week, an amount I simply cannot afford after losing my job and source of income.

At the same time, I urgently need surgery to restore my hearing through a hearing nerve implant, which costs approximately $2,000. I only want to regain my ability to hear so that I can continue my life and take care of my children.

And the suffering does not end there… My father was injured in his shoulder as a result of the bombing and suffers from severe pain that has left him unable to move normally. He also needs treatment and medical care. 🙏

We are now living in a tent in the streets of Gaza, under the scorching heat of the sun and the fear of the night. There is no shelter to protect our children, no safety, and no stability. Every day is another struggle for survival. 🕊️

My children no longer ask me about the future. Their question every day has become:

“Dad, will we stay alive? Will we eat today? Will we sleep safely?” 💔

And I stand before them helpless, with nothing to offer except prayers and hope that a better day will come.

I am not asking for a life of luxury, nor am I seeking anything beyond what I truly need. All I want is to save my daughter, provide her with milk, diapers, food, and medicine, protect my children, receive the treatment I need, and help my father overcome the pain he suffers from.
