My name is Hanan, a 30-year-old mother from Rafah, in the Tel al-Sultan area.
On May 7, 2024, while we were all asleep, our house was bombed over our heads. My husband, my children, and I miraculously made it out alive from under the rubble. From that moment on, our journey of displacement and living in a tent began. We endured a day of unimaginable fear when our home was bombed while we were sleeping, and yet we survived, pulled from the wreckage. ๐Ÿ™

The memory of that moment stays with us, and the path afterward has been heavy. We are two children now, the light of my life, my daughter and my four-year-old son Majdi, who has been suffering from malnutrition and requires a great deal of care and attention. The days since the attack have been focused entirely on keeping them safe and fed, but the loss of our home and the disruption to everything we knew have left us struggling to cover even the most basic needs.๐Ÿ’”

Right now, every small act of care makes a difference: a reliable place to sleep, basic food, and a little help to move forward. The funds will be used to secure essential essentials and to ease the weeks ahead as we try to regain a sense of normalcy. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

We are grateful for any generosity that can help us lift our childrenโ€™s spirits and sustain them through this difficult time. Please consider supporting our family as we begin to rebuild our home and our lives. ๐Ÿ’ช

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for keeping us in your thoughts. If you are able to help, your kindness will make a real difference for Hanan, her daughter, and her son.
