Mahdi, a university student who was studying nursing before the war broke out, witnessed and lived through the genocide He lost many relatives and friends, and his studies were interrupted after his university and all government facilities were destroyed His home was also destroyed during the 2024 invasion of Rafah, and the city remains under occupation to this day.

Mahdi has now become an independent activist trying to get his voice and the voice of his people out to the world, but he and his family are living in difficult circumstances especially after being displaced from Rafah and the famine intensifying He is in dire need of our help so that he and his family of 8 can survive.
