Little Misk Tabash is only 3 years old. She was born with Down syndrome, and now suffers from a dangerous heart defect. Her only chance is an urgent surgery—but she lives in Gaza, a place where war has swallowed hospitals, hope, and homes.

Her family is broken by poverty and siege. Her father, Suleiman, is disabled. They have no safe shelter, no steady access to food, no medical help.

Every night, Misk sleeps to the sound of bombs instead of lullabies. Every morning, her fragile heart beats just a little weaker.
