Kinan Wael is resident of Khan Younis and lives in a house that partially collapsed after being shelled by I*raeli artillery. He and his extended family of 15 are trying to survive amid the rubble, without food, medicine, or any source of income.

Kinan has lost two of his brothers in the war. He is now the sole breadwinner for his elderly mother, his brother, and 12 children, most of whom are his nieces and nephews. He is unemployed because of the devastation, has been displaced multiple times, and has no income or outside support.

"I can't even buy medicine for my nephew. He is sick because of the shelling, and we live in a house that could collapse at any moment."
