Families in Gaza need foreign bank accounts to run their campaigns, but for many, this is not possible, so friends and family in countries deemed "eligible" help run these campaigns. I will be sharing Mahmoud's words and story on his behalf and ALL the donated funds will go directly to Mahmoud and his family.
My name is Mahmoud, and I’m part of a family of seven. For over a year and a half, we’ve been living in a school in Deir al-Balah after losing our home and everything we owned due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
A few weeks ago, my brother was killed at an aid centre, leaving me the sole provider for my family, who lost their father last year.
Our living conditions are unbearable — no electricity, no secure shelter, and no clean drinking water. Food and water are extremely scarce, and we face daily threats to our safety. We are physically and emotionally drained, yet we continue to hold on to hope.
My dream has always been to become a professional football player in Europe, or a skilled barber who masters his craft. And although circumstances have made this dream seem out of reach, hope still lives within me. I will keep trying as long as I breathe, because a dream never dies as long as the will exists.

Why We Need Your Help:
To escape this crisis and secure a safer future for my family, we need to raise $25,000 (£18 000) as an initial goal. This amount will help cover the high costs required to leave Gaza safely.
Even though the Rafah crossing is currently closed, part of the funds will be set aside in preparation for any opportunity to evacuate. The rest will go toward immediate needs — food, water, and shelter — especially during the cold weather.
We cannot do this alone.
Your support could be the reason my family survives this nightmare. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to safety and dignity.
Thank you for standing with us in our darkest time.
