Help Mais Family in Gaza

My name is Mai, I’m from Gaza — and this isn’t just a story… it’s a cry from a heart that’s lost everything.

I used to live a simple life with my family. We had dreams, we worked hard, we loved each other, and we were grateful for every little blessing.
But overnight, everything collapsed.

We were forced to evacuate our home. They told us, “Go south, it’s safe there.” So we left, carrying nothing but fear, sadness, and memories.
A few days later, we were told our home was completely destroyed. Not a wall left standing. Not a door. Not a single memory saved. We became homeless.

My mother was already sick before the war. She has severe heart problems and had a life-saving device implanted just two weeks before the bombing began. That device is now failing, and I’m watching her health get worse every day, knowing I can’t afford the treatment that could save her.

My younger brother was injured in a brutal attack. His hand was torn apart by shrapnel — he needed over 80 stitches and still requires physical therapy to be able to use it again.

And me?
I’m exhausted. Not just from the war, the hunger, the fear — but from screaming into a world that doesn’t seem to hear me.

Today, I’m asking for one thing:
A chance.
A chance to treat my mother, to help my brother, and to give my family even a small piece of dignity and safety back.
I don’t want anything more than to live again… to study, to work, to rebuild from the ashes.
