šŸ’” I’m Mahmoud – a volunteer paramedic, a single father, and a survivor

My name is Mahmoud, I work as a volunteer in emergency response and first aid in Gaza.
I’m a father of two young children, living in a tent in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, after we were displaced from Rafah due to the war.

I separated from my wife six months after the war began due to personal reasons. Since then, I’ve been raising my two children alone, while also caring for my elderly parents who live with me.

šŸ§’ My children are 6 years old and 1 year old

They need:

šŸ‘µ My parents both suffer from serious health issues:

šŸ‘Ø‍🦳 My father:

šŸ‘©‍🦳 My mother:

šŸ§‘‍āš•ļø And me?

I suffer from lazy eye syndrome in my right eye, and I urgently need prescription glasses to be able to work and care for my family properly.
Despite this, I continue to volunteer and help others — even while I struggle to help my own family survive.

šŸ†˜ What we urgently need:

šŸ’” Power & lighting

We have no electricity in the tent. We need a power solution for light and daily needs.

šŸž Daily food

I need at least $50/day to cover basic meals for my children, parents, and myself.

šŸ’Š Medications & supplements

My elderly parents need painkillers, nerve medications, and vitamins regularly.

šŸ”Ŗ Cooking supplies & hygiene

We lack the basic kitchen tools and sanitary items needed for life in a tent.

šŸ™ Please help me continue being a father, a son, and a responder.

Even as I serve my people in emergency situations, I’m fighting every day just to keep my own family alive.

šŸ’³ Donate what you can – even $5 helps

ā¤ļø Stand with the people still standing, even when broken

I just need help to keep going.” – Mahmoud
