💔 I’m Hanaa from Gaza — we lost everything, but we’re still trying to survive

My name is Hanaa Mohammed, I’m 29 years old, displaced from my home in Gaza after it was destroyed in a missile strike.
I now live in a tent in Al-Nuseirat with my brother Khaled (35 years old). We lost our home, our family — everything.

We were buried under the rubble. My brother, my mother, and I survived — but my mother passed away a month later from her injuries.
Now, Khaled and I are trying to survive with no home, no income, and no basic necessities.

😔 My brother Khaled is all I have

Khaled has become my only support.
Despite everything, he goes out every day to find a little food for us — even though he now suffers from a severe chest condition caused by the smoke inhalation when we were trapped under the rubble.
He needs regular treatment to stay alive.

🆘 What we urgently need:

🏕️ A new tent

The one we’re in now is torn and unsafe.
🔹 Cost: $900

🍞 Food and water

We barely eat once a day — everything is unaffordable.
🔹 Monthly cost: $600

💊 Medical treatment for Khaled

He needs medication and treatment every 20 days.
🔹 Cost: $100 every 20 days

💸 Tent ground rent

Even the land where we set up our tent isn’t free.
🔹 We pay $100/ month just to stay here.

“We lost our home, our mother, our future… but not our hope.
All we ask for is a tent, food, and medicine.” – Hanaa
