I also take care of my elderly parents, aged 78 and 77, who are entirely dependent on me 🧓👵. We used to live in a small room with just one bathroom in the Al-Salam neighborhood on the border (Mirage Line). But even that modest space was destroyed by an airstrike 💔.
Now we have no home, no income, and no support. My husband attempted to migrate illegally before the war, traveling from Egypt to Turkey and then trying to reach Greece. Sadly, we lost contact with him in September 2023, and we haven’t heard from him since. I fear he is gone 😢.
We are left with nothing.
🔹 My son Mohammed is severely malnourished and needs milk, diapers, and a walker to help him stand.
🔹 My daughter Malak cries from hunger every day. We can’t afford food, and all I can give them is a small amount of duqqa, a simple spice mix.
🔹 Malak once asked to eat sand instead of duqqa — that’s how deep our hunger has gone 🥺.
🔹 I am also suffering from dehydration and exhaustion. There’s no flour, no sugar, no clean water, no proper nutrition. We queue for food once a week if it’s even available. Malak has lost her childhood, standing in lines with me instead of playing or eating like other kids 🎈.
I’m not asking for much… just enough to:
Feed my children 🍞
Get milk and medical care for my son 🍼
Provide diapers, food, and clothes
Support my aging parents 🧓👵
Reclaim a shred of dignity for our family
🙏 Please don’t look away. Even the smallest donation can bring hope and relief to my children. Help me carry this heavy load.
You can be the difference between hunger and hope.Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
