My name is Asmaa Tayseer, I am 22 years old and a mother of two young girls whose only fault is that they were born into poverty, hardship, and injustice. 💔

We survived genocide after being displaced more than five times. At the beginning of June 2025, I lost my husband — the pillar of our small family. Now, I face this life alone with my two daughters: Eileen, 4 years old, and Celine, only a few days old.

Celine cries from hunger, and I don’t even have the money to buy milk or diapers. We live in a small rented house that costs $300 per month, with no income and no one to support us.

Every night, I hold my two daughters close, praying for warmth, safety, and mercy — hoping that morning will bring a kind heart willing to help us.
