Help Samah’s family in Gaza

We were bombed and death was close to us, and they pulled my family out from under the rubble of the house
I am Samah, born and raised in Rafah, I am 31 years old, a primary school teacher, I have a happy marriage, and I am a mother of two beautiful girls, Sarah, 4 years old, and Maryam, 3 years old. 
We were living a beautiful, very beautiful life.

When the war broke out, everything was turned upside down.

For their sake, despite everything we are going through and despite the harshness of the war, I can still continue to make a better life for them.
We were bombed and they pulled my husband and my daughter Sarah out from under the rubble and our house was destroyed. My daughter Sarah, after what happened, whenever she hears the sound of planes, gets scared and cries and runs towards us. She was injured and needs plastic surgery, and my daughter Maryam has become sharp-tempered despite her young age because of the harsh conditions we have been through. The duration of the war is half of what I have seen of this life so far!
Despite this suffering and my family’s survival from death and the cruelty of the war that we have been through and are still going through, we were displaced in tents and experienced all kinds of homelessness, displacement, cold, fear and hunger.

We seek to travel to a better place so that we can provide a safe life for my children and build a new home far from war and destruction. We hope to return to our previous beautiful life that was filled with love and tenderness.
