A devastating explosion shook our entire neighborhood in central Gaza. It struck a nearby home with immense force, and the apartment we were renting was badly damaged. We woke in terror, fearing the worst. I held my daughter close, preparing myself for anything — but by God’s mercy, we survived.

We are displaced and living in constant fear and poverty. Just as we were trying to cope, this tragedy struck again.

I have no source of income. I am trying to care for my young daughter, my husband’s family, and my own family in conditions that are unbearable.

My mother has lost vision in her right eye and is now suffering from high pressure in her left eye. She also struggles with blood pressure illness. My brother was injured, and several of his toes had to be amputated.

We are overwhelmed, but we are still holding on.
