My name is Doha, I’m a mother of four children, and like thousands in Gaza, I’ve lost everything.
After our home was bombed, we lived in a tent that tore apart in the winter winds. Now, I live above the rubble of what used to be our apartment — under a cracked ceiling that could collapse any moment.
🏚 My family at a glance:
👩👦👦 I’m a mother of 4:
-
Waseem (10)
-
Jihad (8)
-
Sameeh (7)
-
Owais (1.5 years old) — a baby born during the war, who now suffers from severe skin rashes, needs milk and diapers, and has no proper crib or clothing.
👨🦽 My husband, Mahmoud, is medically disabled. He had a portion of his intestines and colon surgically removed due to illness and is no longer able to work. We have medical documents confirming his condition.
🤒 I, myself, suffer from a chronic stomach infection (H. Pylori) that causes me constant pain and weakness.
🎒 My three school-age children:
They’ve lost their clothes, school supplies, and books under the rubble.
They can’t return to school without:
-
✏️ Stationery & books
-
👕 Clothing
-
🧸 Basic comfort items
All I want is for them to feel like children again — to learn, play, and eat properly.
❗ What we urgently need:
-
🍼 Milk and diapers for baby Owais
-
🏫 School needs for the older three boys
-
🩺 Medicine for me and my husband
-
🍞 Food, clean water, and flour — we often go without meals
-
🛖 A proper shelter — we can't afford rent or a new tent
-
💡 Basic lighting — we live in darkness every night
💔 We have:
✖ No income
✖ No food security
✖ No safe shelter
✖ No access to consistent medical care
We’ve been displaced four times. Now, we are back on top of our destroyed apartment, with no walls, no protection — just hope that someone will hear us.
Please, help us survive.
Even a few dollars can bring light, warmth, food, or comfort to my children.
Share our story — it might reach someone who can help.
From a mother who has lost her home but still clings to hope,
