π “We’ve lost everything. I’m pregnant and can’t feed my baby.”
I’m Hala Mohamad, 20 years old, from Gaza. I live with my husband (Mohamad, 24), our baby Yamen (1 year and 4 months), and my in-laws (Jihad, 64, and Jamalat, 59) — all five of us in a tiny rented room with a bathroom and kitchen.
We’ve been displaced four times and lost over 20 relatives in Israeli airstrikes. Our house was destroyed. Now, we’re struggling to survive.
πͺ What we’re going through
-
π€° I’m pregnant and unable to afford healthy food or medical care
-
πΆ My baby needs Cerelac and diapers daily
-
π§π¦½ My husband Mohammed has torn ligaments from a bombing and can’t walk properly
-
π§ My father-in-law lost his hearing in the war
-
π΅ My mother-in-law suffers from chronic illnesses (diabetes, high blood pressure)
-
π¦· I have severe dental problems — nerve damage, broken molars, and need a bridge, but the cost is unbearable
We pay $250/month in rent, and we cannot even afford basic food like flour, which now costs $500 a bag. There is no income, no assistance, and famine is setting in.
π What we urgently need
-
π Food and flour
-
πΌ Milk, Cerelac, and diapers for our baby
-
π Medication for pregnancy, injury, and chronic illness
-
π¦· Urgent dental treatment
-
π₯ Help to cover rent and secure safe shelter
Please, as your sister from Gaza, I’m reaching out with what’s left of my strength. We are in urgent need. Even the smallest donation can help save our lives.
With hope,
Hala Mohamad
