Peace be upon you. My name is Sondos Abu Sbitan, and I come to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea.

Before October 7, I lived with my family in a peaceful neighbourhood in Gaza. But in the early days of the war, we were forced to flee. Since then, we have been displaced five times, attacked, injured, and left with nothing.

🏚️ A Home Destroyed – A Life Uprooted

My family of six lost everything in the blink of an eye.
We are now living in a damaged house that was previously bombed – it’s not suitable for human life, but we have no other option. We don’t even have food to photograph and share. There is famine in Gaza.
Whoever doesn't die from bombs dies from hunger. 💔🍞

🩺 Our Daily Struggles: Illness, Injury, and No Medicine

😔 I underwent surgery after suffering a dislocation in my lower jaw. But the operation went wrong, and now I live with permanent nerve damage in my face.
I rely on painkillers to get through the day because medicine is completely unavailable.

👴 My father suffers from chronic high blood pressure.
🧑‍🦰 My brother Omar (29) used to support us with a small farming job – the occupation destroyed his land. Our only source of income is gone.
👩‍🦰 My sister Intisar (27) has a serious medical condition – a painful fistula in her lower back. She urgently needs surgery, but we cannot afford it, and the health system in Gaza is collapsing.

We are surviving only by the mercy of others. Your kindness is our only hope.
