πŸ•ŠοΈ Who I Am

My name is Um Yamen, I’m 34 years old — a mother of four children, a wife, and a displaced woman living in Gaza.
My life has become a battlefield I never chose — one of pain, hunger, displacement, and fear.
But I continue to fight, every day, for my family’s survival.

I am the only caregiver for:

πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘¦ My husband Mohammed (43), who suffers from a severe spinal disc herniation and can no longer move without unbearable pain.
πŸ‘¦ My four children — ages 13, 11, 8, and 4 — who have never known a life without war.
🏚️ We live in a relative’s home, but it's temporary, unstable, and overcrowded.

πŸ’£ What Happened to Us

Like so many families in Gaza, the war has torn our lives apart.

🏠 We lost our home, safety, and sense of stability.
πŸ“‰ My husband is bedridden and cannot work.
πŸ§• I am left to care for six people — physically, emotionally, and financially — with no source of income and no help.
🍽️ I can’t even provide regular meals for my children due to skyrocketing prices and the complete collapse of the economy.

🩺 Our Medical & Daily Needs

πŸ’‰ My husband needs a series of six injections to manage his spinal condition — they cost $200. We can’t afford them.
πŸ₯£ My children are hungry. I cannot provide them with enough food.
🧼 We lack essentials like clean water, warm clothing, and hygiene items.
πŸ˜” My children don’t go to school. Their world is one of aid lines, fear, and nightly tears.

I carry all this on my shoulders — I feed, protect, soothe, and pray. But even strong hearts break when there is no help.

πŸ’” A Mother's Silent Cry

"We don’t want to return to oppression again… We don’t want to feel fear and exhaustion. We don’t want to lose anyone. We don’t want to live in hunger or anxiety again. We don’t want to see pain in the eyes of those we love… We just want hope."

πŸ™ Why We Need Your Help

I don’t want pity — I want a chance to live, to raise my children with dignity.

Your donation can help us:

🍞 Buy food for the children
πŸ’Š Purchase medication for my husband’s spinal condition
πŸ’§ Access clean water and hygiene essentials
πŸ›οΈ Provide warm clothes and shelter
πŸ§• Relieve a mother who is breaking under the weight of it all

Even $10 can help us eat, treat pain, or keep warm for one more night.

🫢 Don’t let us disappear in the darkness.
Your kindness could be the light that saves us.
