My name is Asmaa, I’m a 26-year-old woman from Rafah, southern Gaza.
I used to live with my family in a small home filled with love and warmth — until the war took even that away from us.

We were forcibly displaced to Mawasi Khan Younis, constantly moving from place to place, searching for safety that doesn’t exist. 🏚️

After 8 years of hard work and hope, I finally graduated from university.
My dream was to become an Arabic language teacher — but the war shattered that dream.
My brother is also struggling to continue his studies with no internet and none of life’s basic needs.

We now live in extremely harsh conditions.
My father is elderly and suffers from a slipped disc that makes it nearly impossible for him to walk.
My mother has high blood pressure and diabetes, and she needs constant medical care. 💊

Our home is destroyed.
Our dreams have been scattered.
And our pain is heavier than we can bear.
