The tranquility of their home was shattered when conflict descended upon their community, leaving their once cozy abode reduced to rubble.
As the chaos unfolded, they clung to each other amidst the destruction, their home transformed into a haunting reminder of the violence that tore through their lives. Amidst the chaos, they tragically lost one of their beloved cats, Eva, who was raised in their home since birth and was unable to adapt and live in the harsh conditions of tents outside their home, refusing to eat and drink, which led to her death after a few days.
The trauma they endured robbed them of their peace of mind and shattered the familiarity of their daily routines. Nour found herself grappling with the weight of uncertainty, the future of her daughters hanging precariously in the balance.
The two girls, who suffered a severe psychological trauma at the beginning of the war when they witnessed the bombing of their neighbors' house, which sheltered a number of their friends, became worse after they had been displaced to the tent after their house was destroyed.
Their livelihood, once sustained by the modest success of their small market stall, is threatened by the relentless conflict. The war not only robbed them of their home and income, but also any sense of safety and stability.
Forced to seek refuge in makeshift tents along the unforgiving shores of the Rafah Sea, they now endure the biting cold and relentless destruction, their resilience tested with each passing day.
But amidst the despair, there is hope—hope that with your generous support, Nour and her daughters can begin to rebuild their shattered lives. Your contribution can provide them with the means to secure shelter, warmth, and stability.
Every donation, no matter how small, serves as a testament to the power of compassion and solidarity in times of adversity. Together, let us stand with Nour and her daughters and help them reclaim the future that was unjustly stolen from them.
