“Hello world, my name is Saeed from Gaza. I am 23 years old, married, and I live with my father, mother, and siblings. We are 7 people living together. I am the eldest and responsible for all of them and I have to take care of them. However, in light of the difficult circumstances at the present time, we are living the worst days of our lives because of the war, the famine, and the genocide. We are trying to survive despite it all.
Before the war, we lived a wonderful life. We had our own business and a source of income, and I had a profession as a fashion designer. But at the beginning of the war, things began to change until our house and our business were bombed, and we were deported from the northern Gaza Strip to the southern Gaza Strip.
We were suffering a lot. We started talking to people outside to help us buy a tent. The help wasn't enough at first. We got a tent, but after that, the war didn't end. After 9 months of war, we started appealing to people to save us from genocide. We demanded to leave Gaza, but we couldn’t. Now we need medical supplies and food so greatly. My wife and mother have a lung disease because of the conditions in the environment.
In early August, my uncle Youssef was exhausted by hunger, he and his sons and his sisters’ sons. He went to bring food like other people from the trucks, but because of the large number of people, the quarreling and the pushing, he was squeezed between the truck’s wheels, where his bones were shattered. He needs money to buy platinum to heal his bones, and that cost $900. I hope you can help me with this.
I need you very much. I hope that my message reaches the world and that everyone reads it. For your information, I am not only speaking about myself, but I am speaking about all the people living in Gaza because they suffer like me. Because of the pressures we are living under, we cannot think to express ourselves in a good and comfortable way. We live a very harsh life. Please, I need your moral and material support. The donation campaign is the only way that will save me from famine and poverty and so that I can treat my mother and wife. I love you all.”
