*The Abu Eita Family from Gaza*
We are a family of 11 who have endured the ongoing war that has devastated our homeland over the past year.

I write to you from a temporary tent — a fragile barrier against the weather, but utterly helpless in the face of missiles and airstrikes that surround us relentlessly.
We have been displaced multiple times, first from our home in Gaza City amidst the chaos of tanks and soldiers, seeking refuge in Khan Younis.

But our relief was short-lived. We had to flee again to Rafah, where we pitched our tent.
Our days are filled with severe food shortages, insecurity, and overwhelming fear.
We have no electricity or clean drinking water. Exhaustion and despair weigh heavily on us.

Our home in Gaza City was destroyed, taking with it our livelihood and dreams.
We are not asking for luxury — only the bare minimum to meet our basic needs, as prices here are outrageously high.

We have endured nearly 700 days of genocide. The occupiers cut off aid in March, and we have lacked sufficient food for four months now. We are all starving. It's terrifying to hear the sounds of bombings around us every day. My brother and husband go to the American aid center and return exhausted and empty-handed.

The only water desalination plant in the area was destroyed. Did you know that fresh water is available only once a week? We are forced to bathe in salty water. Garbage and sewage accumulate and pollute what little water we have, yet we still use it despite the illnesses it causes.

We didn’t always live like this. My sisters dream of going to university. I personally want to continue my studies. I even had a scholarship before the war. My brother used to study on his phone until it stopped working, and now the cost to fix it is no longer affordable. All our dreams are on hold.We have been displaced repeatedly in search of safety. My home was in northern Gaza. We were displaced 13 times. At first, we moved south to Rafah, then back north to Deir al-Balah, enduring the winter in a tent that barely protected us from the cold and rain. During that time, I volunteered to help children in Gaza—many of whom are traumatized by what they’ve witnessed.

We recently returned to northern Gaza and now live in a tent near our destroyed home. The occupiers want us to leave again, but we have decided not to. We will never leave.

Please, will you support us?
Note: Gaza is only flooded with media aid.
