Wesam’s Journey: A Fight Against Time & Circumstance

Wesam is fighting a relentless battle against a recurring tumor in his eye, a condition that once had a chance of being managed—until the war severed his access to critical medical care. Now, his symptoms are worsening, and every day is filled with pain and uncertainty.

Without treatment, Wesam endures constant suffering:

🔴 Severe nosebleeds – Up to three times a day, draining his strength.
💥 Debilitating migraines – A relentless, daily burden.
👁 Blocked tear ducts – Leaving him in constant discomfort, requiring medication to prevent infection.

As if his own suffering weren’t enough, Wesam is the primary caregiver for his entire family. His father suffers from hypertension, diabetes, and epilepsy, and his wife and 3-month-old baby live in a cramped, unsanitary tent alongside eight other family members.
