I am Mahmoued from the Gaza Strip. My family consists of my wife Asooma and two children, Fofo and Qasem. My wife gave birth to my child, Qasem, in the war on 03/07/2025, and my daughter Fofo lived her life in the war, as my wife gave birth to her on 12/17/2021.
Because of the war, we lost our home in Al-Naser neighborhood and i lost my job, as i worked as a Hardware Engineer in a Computer Company. We now live in a tent and very difficult conditions that the natural person cannot bear, and the basic requirements cannot be provided, so we have created this campaign.
I leave you the details of life to read:
before the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, I used to live in my beautiful house in Gaza City in Al-Nasar neighborhood. I am married and have a beautiful daughter named Fofo. My wife was also pregnant with another child. My daughter Fofo was 18 months old on October 7, 2023, the date of the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. She began to grow up on the impact of bullets, the bombing of the planes, the suffering of displacement, the lack of material and moral capabilities, the spread of diseases and the loss of childhood, until she reached two years on 12/17/2023. I was hoping to celebrate her second birthday with great joy, but unfortunately, because of the war, I only kissed her on his cheek on his birthday in Khan Younis Governorate at the time, the place of my exodus and suffering.
As for the suffering of my displacement with my family during this war, it was a great deal that started as follows: Because I live in a dangerous area under a state of war in the Nasar neighborhood, I had to leave very quickly with the start of the war on October 7, without taking my requirements. And my daughter necessities from my home, escaped to another safer house until 10/16/2023. Then the occupation army decided to force us to flee south of Wadi Gaza, and here the suffering of displacement began, so we quickly walked on foot to Nuseirat camp in the central governorate, south of Wadi Gaza, on 10/16/2023, to stay there for 23 days. Then came an appeal from the Israeli occupation army to evacuate the house immediately in the middle of the night, in preparation for the bombing of it. On 19/11/2023, we fled with my family to stay. In Khan Younis.
And here our struggles began with the tent. We bought the tent supplies and started living in an old wood and wood tent instead of the big house we used to live in before the war. We also prepared a small wooden bathroom due to the lack of enough bathrooms in the place, and we were staying for only 25 days, until we were surprised by the occupation forces, suddenly raiding the Area in which we lived, and we fled to Mawasi without any personal belongings. Even the tent, we could not take it with us, on 03/01/2024. So, we went to the camps of Mawasi Governorate, and started buying tent supplies again, as well as preparing the bathroom again, and our suffering continued in the tent, from very hot and very cold, until 08/25/2024. Let us start the journey of displacement from Mawasi governorate after the occupation threatened to attack Mawasi, so we displaced and migrated for the sixth time, this time from Mawasi governorate, returning to Khan Younis governorate in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area, to live in a tent on empty agricultural land until 01/29/2025.
That is, after two years of war. Today, my beautiful daughter Fofo is 3 year and six months old, meaning that she has been living for a whole two year under the fire and bombing of the occupation in this fierce war. We also had our second child who came into this difficult life and this difficult war.
This is my story and the story of my family in this war, and I need your support for my daughter and son Fofo and Qasem to live a better life, and let us all live a better life.
After the return of the war, we are once again facing genocide, death, displacement, hunger, thirst and fear. The crossings are closed, and prices are rising by 300%. We need to buy milk and diapers for the new baby. We need to provide food for my 4-year-old daughter, who is growing up.
