Help Rawan and her family in Gaza!

Hi Friends,

I'm Rowan, mom of an 8-year-old son, aunt to 4 beautiful children, daughter and sister of two older brothers, all of us from Gaza. 

Before the war started, I was studying to become a Sign Language teacher whilst looking after my son. My brothers were working at a hairdresser and between us we provided for my elderly Father and Mother. 

Now, the war has torn our lives: although I have completed my degree and am working hard to teach the deaf and impaired to communicate, and my brothers are trying their hardest to do as much work as they can, the war has destroyed our house, our places of work and everything around us. Between all of us, we cannot make enough money to pay for the food, medicine, and basic necessities of the family. My Mother's asthma requires continuous medication, my Father requires constant treatment for his blood pressure, diabetes, and to care for his delicate heart and the children desperately need food, milk, and the youngest ones' diapers. Our hard work is not enough because of the extremely high prices and unavailability of nearly anything.

This brutal war has taken everything from us except our humanity! Please help me look after my elderly parents, who cared and raised me and my brothers; help me take care of my son so he can grow to see a bright future, and help my nieces get the food and clothes they need! Any small donation will make a difference :)
