Help Sameh and his wife survive and start over

I'm hosting this campaign on behalf of my friend Sameh, as Chuffed doesn't allow Palestinian beneficiaries to withdraw funds. All money raised will be transferred directly to him.

I am Sameh Mahmoud, a young Palestinian man from the Gaza Strip. I am married and live with my wife in a rented house after losing everything due to the war. 

We were university students dreaming of a better future. Together, we are just trying to get through our days with food, safety and hope.

No work, no income, no source of security.

I am looking for someone to help me with:

Providing basic food

Paying university fees

Providing for my wife's daily needs.

This is not a cry of weakness, but rather a plea from the heart of Gaza that there is a young man who still believes in life despite the ashes.

As the blockade on supplies continues, living expenses in Gaza continue to soar from day to day, but these are some of Sameh's goals at the time of writing:

- $250 per week for basic food (one meal per day)

- $370 per month rent - the current high commission rates to withdraw cash means that he in fact needs to raise $620

- $500 per semester (three-monthly) each for his and his wife's tuition fees
