Yasmeen Ahmed, 23, is a university student from Gaza who once dreamed of graduating and traveling the world. Today, she is doing all she can just to keep her family alive.

After an airstrike destroyed their home, Yasmeen lost her older sister, her sister’s husband, and their children. She now lives with 13 surviving family members in a torn nylon tent surrounded by trash, insects, and unbearable sorrow.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Yasmeen’s Family Today:

  • 👴 Father (65) – suffers from asthma, gout, and high blood pressure

  • 👵 Mother (60) – had her uterus removed and now faces serious complications and psychological trauma

  • 🧕 Yasmeen (23) – lives with severe anemia, fatigue, and the heartbreak of abandoning her university education

  • 👶 5 young children – include her late sister’s and brother’s kids, suffering from malnutrition and lack of milk

  • 🧥 Other family members – all grieving, displaced, and traumatized

🛑 Their Current Situation:

  • 🏚 Live in a nylon tent with no food, no clean water, no flour, and no clothing

  • 🚫 No access to healthcare – Yasmeen and her parents urgently need medicine, vitamins, and medical support

  • 📚 Children are unable to attend school without supplies, fees, or safe transport

  • 💔 The tent is infested with cockroaches, flies, and sewage smells—completely unfit for human life

  • 😓 Constant fear, hunger, and grief dominate their days

“I look at my mother crying, and I cry with her. We lost our home, our loved ones, and our dreams. We’ve gone days without food. We fetch water like it's treasure. We try not to die.

I had dreams—I was a university student. Now all I want is food for my family, medicine for my father, and a warm place to sleep. Please, help me help them.”
