💔 From Nursing School to a Tent: War Took Everything But Hope 💔
Help Sawsan and her displaced family survive the unimaginable in Gaza
I am Sawsan, a young woman from Gaza, and I was studying nursing—I dreamed of saving lives. But war and poverty stole that dream from me.
We are 9 family members now living in a tent, after our home was destroyed. The nights are freezing, the days are scorching, and there’s no shelter from either.
My brother, our only provider, was martyred, and my father is missing—we still don’t know if he’s a prisoner or a martyr. My mother (53) suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes, but we can’t even afford her medicine.
My divorced sister is trying to care for her young child. I now carry the burden of caring for my younger siblings:
-
Maryam (12)
-
Yasmin (10)
-
Mostafa (3) —he’s too young to understand what we’ve lost.
Behind the silence of our tent lies hunger, sorrow, and pain. We have no income, no resources, and no safety net—just the hope that someone, somewhere, will hear our plea.
🙏 What We Need:
-
🍼 Milk and diapers for the little ones
-
💊 Medicine for my mother’s blood pressure and diabetes
-
👕 Clothes and hygiene supplies
-
🏕️ A better shelter or tent to survive the weather
-
🍞 Food and clean drinking water
-
💵 Financial aid to meet daily survival needs
We don’t ask for luxuries—only for the bare essentials of life.
Your donation, no matter how small, could mean a warm meal, a life-saving medicine, or even just a moment of peace.
