💔 Ahmed's Family Is Sleeping in the Streets After Losing Everything to War

"We have no food, no water, no shelter—and two babies to keep alive. We’re exhausted, hungry, and desperate to survive."

My name is Ahmed Abu Rida, I’m 24 years old and currently displaced in Khan Younis, Gaza. Since the beginning of the war, we’ve been forced from one destroyed place to another—living in the streets with no tent, no blankets, no food, and no water. Our home was bombed, and we have nowhere left to go.

My wife Lamis just gave birth to our baby girl Tia, who is only 20 days old. We have nothing to protect her—no milk, no diapers, not even clean clothes.

My brother Amir, his wife Hind, and their daughter Wateen (2 years old) are also with us, along with our sister Hala (18 years old), who was injured by shrapnel in a recent shelling and now suffers from pain in her back and legs.

We are 7 people surviving in the open air, in unbearable heat, with nothing to eat or drink. Illnesses are spreading. Our babies are suffering from exposure, dehydration, and malnutrition.

🚨 What We’re Facing:

  • 🍼 No baby milk, diapers, or clothes for our infant and toddler

  • 💊 No medical care for Hala’s shrapnel wounds or our babies

  • 😔 No rest, no hope, and no safety
