My name is Fatma Maher, I’m 24 years old, from Gaza. I’m a wife and a mother to a beautiful two-and-a-half-year-old boy. Before the war, I was a university student studying Digital Media, dreaming of a future where I could support my family with dignity. But now, everything is falling apart.

My current course will run out in just a few days.
🧒 My son is sick too.
My baby boy suffers from muscle weakness and needs daily vitamins and nutritional supplements to survive. He still needs diapers and milk, but we can barely afford any of that. Sometimes I hide my tears from him and force a smile, so he doesn’t feel the weight of our suffering.
He asks me, “Mama, when are we going home?”
