๐ My Son Has Kidney Problems. We Live in a Tent. ๐
Help Amal save her son and support her displaced family of six in Gaza
I am Amal Yousef, a mother of four, living in a tent in Mawasi Khan Younis after our house was bombed to rubble.
We are a family of six—my husband, our two daughters (16 and 14), and our two sons (11 and the youngest, 6), who is suffering from severe kidney inflammation (AGN).
The hospitals discharged my son, not because he was healed, but because they didn’t have enough capacity to treat everyone.
Since then, we haven’t been able to complete his follow-ups or tests. His condition comes and goes, and every time he cries in pain, I live in fear. I once had to put a stone on his stomach so he wouldn’t feel the hunger.
Yes—that’s how bad it is.
The medical authorities require Form No. 1 to consider evacuation for treatment abroad—but I don’t know how to get it. I’m exhausted from begging and searching for help.
We live in a burned-out tent, and none of our children go to school anymore. Our life has completely collapsed.
๐ What We Need:
-
๐ฅ Medical treatment and evacuation help for my son
-
๐งพ Support with Form No. 1 or legal help navigating the medical system
-
๐ผ Food and milk for the children
-
๐๏ธ Blankets and mattresses for the tent
-
๐ Medicine and emergency supplies
-
๐ Clothing for my children
-
๐ Help to return them to school
We are not asking for comfort, just a chance to survive—a chance to ease a child’s pain and restore dignity to a displaced family.
๐ข Please donate, share, and support us. Your compassion could bring my son the care he needs—and help us all breathe again.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Amal
