Help Qusay Feed His Family and Finish University in Gaza
“We’ve been hungry for days. I’m not ashamed to say it — we have nothing. I just want to feed my family again.”
Qusay, 22, is a university student and the former sole provider for his displaced family of eight. Before the war, he worked as a delivery driver, supporting his parents and six siblings. Now, after Israeli airstrikes destroyed their home in Beit Hanoun (North Gaza), they’ve been forced to live in a tent in Gaza Al-Nasr, west of Gaza City — with no food, no income, and no access to basic medicine.
His family includes:
-
Father (51) — suffers from high blood pressure
-
Mother (45) — has a blocked pulmonary artery and urgently needs daily medication
-
Brother (24)
-
Sister (20)
-
Sister (19)
-
Brother Ahmad (14)
-
Brother Ayman (12)
Since the war began, Qusay has lost his job, and with medicine and food prices soaring, he can no longer afford even the bare essentials. His parents’ health is worsening. Most days, they go to sleep hungry, with nothing to shield them from the cold or the heat but a thin layer of tent fabric.
“I used to provide for my family — now I can't even give them a meal. We’ve slept on the roadside, fled from one place to another, and lost everything each time. Please help us survive.”
Qusay is also a student at Al-Aqsa University. He’s completed two years of his bachelor's degree and is continuing his studies online despite these unimaginable conditions. He needs 300 Jordanian Dinars per semester (600 Dinars per year) to keep going.
