Om Jana is a mother of three, living under unimaginable conditions in Gaza. Since the beginning of the war, her husband has been imprisoned, leaving her to carry the burden of survival alone. With no income and no support, she now lives in a flimsy tin shelter with her children:
👧 Jana (14)
👦 Mohammed (11) – suffers from respiratory problems
👶 Adam (5) – dreams of attending kindergarten
They have no roof, no running water, no electricity—only broken walls and broken dreams.
Her son Mohammed suffers from respiratory problems, and both boys need $30 each per month to attend school through a local organisation. Om Jana does everything she can to provide, but even affording firewood to cook meals is a daily struggle.
“We have no flour, no sugar, no oil, no rice. We’re asked to evacuate—but I don’t have money for transportation, a tent, or even a place to go. All I want is to feed my children and keep them warm.”
Om, Jana doesn’t ask for much. Just food to fill their stomachs. Wood to make a fire. To ensure her children don’t fall behind in education.
Now, she needs us to stand with her.
