“Inside a small tent, surrounded by war and destruction, we teach the Quran, tajweed, and the life of the Prophet ﷺ — because faith must live on, even in the darkest times.”

The Noor Al-Huda Center is a humble Quran memorization school for girls and women in Gaza. It operates daily from Asr to Maghrib, serving 40 students aged 6 to 30 years old — all inside a tent located in a displaced persons camp.

Despite having no desks, no proper educational tools, and no stable salaries, the center shines with the spirit of learning and the light of the Quran. The center is led by Umm Ahmad, the founder’s mother, and another volunteer teacher. Their reward is with Allah — and occasionally, small donations when possible.

To instill the Quran and Sunnah into the hearts of our girls and raise a generation that knows and loves its faith — even under siege and displacement.
