Financial Aid for a Bedouin Family in South Gaza

Salam everyone,

I had been asked by a Gazan friend of mine to help a Bedouin family living in South Gaza who are living in destitution. They only have one phone among the family and do not speak much English, so they cannot fundraise without assistance. I am in contact with them to help coordinate their fundraiser and will transfer money to them periodically and post pictures to provide transparency.

Here is a summary of their conditions in their own words:

"This is our main meal—foul medames—in the morning and evening, with a little bit of bread crumbs due to its unavailability caused by the rising prices after the war resumed. We make do with the old, dry bread to keep ourselves going.

Two of the children need diapers, milk, and nutritional supplements, as well as new clothes for both winter and summer. One child has recently developed a skin condition.

 
There is no cooking gas, and we cannot afford to buy it.

This is the tent we live in—it is old and torn, and we need to replace it. I hope you can help us. ❤️

I set the campaign goal to $7500 so they can buy necessities. A tent alone can cost $1500-$2000, and the rest will be for them to buy food, diapers, and medication for the children. If they need more money after surpassing this original goal, I will raise it. Thank you for your help!
