💔 Mohammed Lost His Entire Family in the Bombing—Now He’s Just Trying to Keep His Mother Alive
"I lost everyone. My father, my brothers, my sisters. Only my 70-year-old mother is left—and she is sick. Please, I don’t want much. Just one meal a day and her medicine."
My name is Mohammed, I’m 33 years old, and I live in northern Gaza with my elderly mother Khadija (70). Our home was destroyed, and I lost my father, two brothers, and three sisters in the bombing.
I am now the only one left to care for my mother. We stay in a relative’s house. We don’t pay rent. We don’t even want much—just a simple meal each day and basic medicine to keep her alive.
I was also injured in my leg and can’t walk far, but I’m not asking for treatment. I’m asking for help for my mother, who is sick and needs medicine for diabetes, blood pressure, and head trauma from the bombings.
🧕 Who We Are:
-
Mohammed (33) – injured and grieving, trying to survive
-
Khadija (70) – lost her entire family, sick, in need of medication
🚨 What We Need:
-
💊 Weekly medicine for my mother (about $40 per month)
-
🍽 One meal a day for both of us
-
🏠 We are sheltered for now, so we ask for no rent—just survival needs
💬 From Mohammed:
“I’m not asking for luxuries. We’re not living—we’re just trying not to die. I can survive without food, but I cannot watch my mother suffer.”
“We used to live with dignity before this war. Now we live on hope.”
