I dreamed of a simple, peaceful life with my wife — a home filled with love and stability. But suddenly, all those dreams collapsed into a nightmare. When the war on Gaza broke out, it didn’t just destroy buildings — it destroyed lives, hopes, and every sense of security. For five long and painful months, we endured hunger, fear, displacement, and heartbreaking loss. In the midst of this suffering, I lost my father — not only to illness, but also to the harsh conditions of war and starvation. His death shattered me. He was my strength, my protector, my shelter — and suddenly, I was left without any support. Shortly after his passing, God blessed me with a daughter. I named her Zina — because she brought light and beauty into the darkest time of my life. But raising a newborn during war is a daily battle. We suffer from a severe lack of clean water, baby milk, diapers, and even basic food. Every single day, I struggle just to keep her safe, fed, and warm. As a father, I wish I could give my daughter the whole world — but here, I can barely provide her with a bottle of milk. As a husband, I want to protect my wife — but I cannot even guarantee her safety in our own shelter. As a son, I carry the pain of losing my father without even the dignity of mourning him properly. Now, survival has become my daily mission — for myself, for my wife, and most of all, for Zina. We live under constant threat, without any source of income, without support, and without access to life’s most basic necessities. I share my story not to ask for sympathy — but because my family urgently needs help to survive. We need food. We need clean water. We need baby supplies. We need the right to breathe, to live, and to hope again. I am Mohammed — a father, a husband, a son — Fighting every day to protect what’s left of my family in the heart of devastation.
