The war has finally ended...470 days of death and destruction, of fear and displacement, of hunger and oppression. 470 days was enough to burn everything, not just our home, but also our dreams, our stability, and even our sense of security.

After more than 15 months of forced displacement, we returned with a glimmer of hope that we might find something left behind. But what we saw was shocking. Our home, which was once a warm refuge, was nothing but burnt ruins. The fire left nothing behind; it consumed every detail of our lives, taking away every memory and every dream.

The walls that once told the stories of our family have collapsed, the roof that sheltered us has fallen, and the furniture that witnessed our conversations and laughter is now nothing but ashes. Everything has turned into rubble, as if the war intended to erase every trace of our previous life.

There are no services available in our city:

• No clean drinking water
• No electricity
• No medical services
• No internet
• No sewage system

The situation in my city is unbearable; the situation is catastrophic, everything is destroyed, and the city is uninhabitable.

What we lost in the war is indescribable, as the pain goes beyond material losses. It extends into our hearts, into the memories that have vanished beneath the rubble. Yet, despite everything, despite the hardship of what we have witnessed, we are still trying to stand again. We are trying to gather the remnants of hope, to rebuild a home that protects and shelters us.
