Hello,
My name is Jameel. I’m a young man, but I carry the responsibility of seven lives on my shoulders.
I live with my ill mother (who has cancer), my elderly father, and five sisters—all in a fragile tent that barely protects us from the blazing sun or freezing nights.

Each day I wake up with the same question:
Where will we find food? How will we cook? How can I care for my mother? How can I help my sisters and brother dream again?

Three of my siblings were university students with big dreams.
But the war crushed everything: no education, no income, no hope.

My father can no longer work due to age and declining health.
My older brother dropped out of university due to unpaid tuition and now suffers from a torn knee, needing urgent care.
We cook over firewood we gather from the rubble—risking our lives—because gas is impossible to obtain.
Aid has stopped, borders are closed, and we are left with nothing.
