My name is Ayman. I am not just asking for help — I am trying to save my family. I am the eldest son in a family of seven, and everything rests on my shoulders. We were forced to flee our home in Beit Hanoun. Now we live displaced in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza, with nothing but uncertainty and fear. Every day is a struggle just to survive. Both of my parents are seriously ill. My mother suffers from high blood pressure and heart disease. My father suffers from hypertension and severe spinal disc problems. They are in constant pain, and they urgently need medication that we simply cannot afford. I am a nursing student, trying to hold onto my education while my life is falling apart. I am fighting to become someone who saves lives… while watching my own parents suffer in front of me. I also live with a visual impairment — but I keep going, because I have no other choice. My younger brother has just started university, and I am doing everything I can to protect his future from collapsing like ours. We are not asking for comfort. We are asking for a chance to survive.
