My name is Umm Yahya, and I’m reaching out from Gaza with a heart full of pain and hope.

Our home was bombed while we were inside. We barely made it out alive — with no food, no clothes, no bedding, nothing. Since the beginning of the war, we've been living in a tattered tent, exposed to the freezing cold of winter and the heat of summer, moving from one unsafe place to another.

💔 My only son and my husband were both injured in the bombing. My husband threw himself on our son to protect him from the falling debris and shrapnel. By the grace of God, they survived. After a long and painful year and a half, my husband finally recovered from his severe leg and back injuries.

But our struggle didn’t end there…

🧓 My husband supports not just us, but also his orphaned nephews and his sister who suffers from kidney failure and needs dialysis three times a week.

He had a small business, but it was destroyed. Now he sells in the streets, and we can’t even afford one proper meal a day.

🥺 I need your help to:

Buy one warm meal a day for my family of five
Purchase clothes for my children, who haven’t had new ones in two years
Pay school fees for my son, who is an excellent student but at risk of dropping out
Afford basic medicine and treatment
Replace our torn tent with a decent one — we currently live without a toilet or privacy
We are not asking for luxuries… just the basics of life: food, education, shelter, and dignity.
