Helping Families in Gaza

I'm hosting this campaign on behalf of my friend Samar, as Chuffed doesn't allow Palestinian beneficiaries to withdraw funds. 100% of money raised will be transferred to her for direct distribution to families.

My name is Samar, and I’m a teacher from Gaza. Since the beginning of the war, I’ve been working to provide some financial support to families in urgent need. I'm asking for your help to expand this so that I can support more people.

We launched this campaign to offer financial assistance to struggling families in my neighbourhood. These families have no personal fundraising pages and have no other support or connections. This page is their only source of income.

The donations you send are transferred directly to these families, and we share all the details and documentation confirming the distribution of the funds.

The situation in Gaza is extremely difficult. Children have lost their strength and ability to move due to severe food shortages. The occupation is blocking supplies from entering, so the price of basic goods is impossibly high. A sack of flour costs hundreds of dollars. We cook over open fires, but even firewood is expensive, leaving people with no alternative but to burn plastic. Those with health conditions have to pay extortionate prices for essential medication.
