Project Mohammed – From the Heart of Gaza

We at Project Mohammed are not a global institution or a large organization with big budgets. We are part of the same people who are suffering. We are the fathers, mothers, neighbors, brothers, and sisters… living under bombardment and feeling every pain our people endure. In the midst of this darkness, we try to be a small ray of light, offering a helping hand and standing with our people.

Why We Started

When thousands of families lost their homes, many were left with nothing but tents or the open sky. With no shelter, no food, and no water, Project Mohammed was born to provide what we could: tents to protect against the cold and heat, food to ease hunger, water to quench thirst, and medicine to save lives.

What We Provide

• 🍚 Hot meals and food parcels for displaced families in camps

• 💧 Clean water distributed daily to thousands in need

• 🏥 Emergency medical care, including medicine and tests, for urgent cases

• ⛺ Safe tents provided free to families with no shelter

• 🧡 Emotional and humanitarian support for orphans and families who have lost everything

The Challenges We Face

• Poor-quality nylon tents collapse in winter and do not protect in summer heat.

• Quality tents are sold on the black market at prices up to $1,000.

• Prices for food and medicine rise daily, while supplies are almost non-existent.

• Families are forced to live in harsh conditions, with no privacy and little safety.

What We Have Achieved Thanks to You

• Distribute thousands of hot meals and vegetable parcels.

• Secure hundreds of thousands of liters of clean water for families in camps.

• Purchase and distribute hundreds of tents to displaced families free of charge.

• Support hundreds of medical cases with lifesaving medicines and tests.

• Provide children’s essentials such as shoes, school supplies, and diapers.

Steps Toward Sustainability

• Building clay ovens so families can bake their own bread instead of buying daily.

• Setting up solar-powered charging stations for phones.

• Supporting small family businesses to help them earn income.

• Constructing private bathrooms and safe spaces for children.
