My name is Mahmoud Mazhar Abu Obeid, I’m 22 years old and from Gaza. Since October 7, I’ve been unemployed and struggling to support my family of seven: my brothers Mohammed (26), Samir (21), and Ahmed (16); my sister Raghad (13); and my parents — my father (62) and my mother (51), who is battling cancer and urgently needs treatment.

Since the war began eight months ago, our lives have been in crisis. Our home was completely destroyed, and we’ve been living in a tent ever since. There is no stable access to food, water, or income. With winter approaching, conditions are becoming even more dangerous.

I launched this campaign to raise funds to buy food, rebuild our home, and give my family a chance at safety and dignity.
