I am Vinoth, fundraising for Muhammad Al-Bardini, a Palestinian resident of Gaza from Deir Al-Balah. Muhammad has been a pillar of support for the camp for displaced families run by his sister, Abeer, helping in multiple ways. That’s how I came to know him. He has also spoken on behalf of the camp in the Twitter Space regularly hosted by RWM.

Muhammad's heart has always been in farming, and it has been his family's lifeline. He has relied on it to provide for his 10-member family, including four boys and four girls, all 11 years old and younger. As the images show, he was once a thriving farmer, fully capable of securing his family's well-being before the latest brutal wave of occupation and genocide.

While his success is now a distant memory and his family's life has been shattered, hope is not lost. Against all odds, he continues farming though now on land degraded by relentless bombardment, struggling to keep going. He is asking for our help so he can persist in doing what he does best and ensure his children’s survival in a self-sustaining way. I will collect the funds in my local bank account and send them to Muhammad through a mutually established payment mechanism.

This fight is about survival, resilience, and refusing to be erased. Let’s stand with Muhammad, his kids and family members.
