"My name is Mahmoud Al-Masri, a 23-year-old young man from the heart of war-torn Gaza. I was studying Biomedical Engineering at Al-Azhar University – Gaza, dreaming of a future where I could help heal the sick and serve my community. But that dream was abruptly shattered and reduced to rubble when my university was destroyed by bombing.

The occupation didn’t just destroy buildings—it destroyed years of hope, education, and life itself. Today, we live in unimaginable conditions. There is no food, no safety, no medicine, and fear surrounds us every moment. I carry a responsibility far beyond my age. I am the eldest of a family of nine, and my father is injured and unable to move. I am the only one able to care for them.

But my responsibilities don’t end there. I also care for my uncle and his wife, bringing the total number of people I support daily to eleven. All of them rely on me for everything: food, medicine, protection, and emotional support.

The border crossings are closed, aid is scarce, and hunger is slowly devouring our bodies. We are not asking for much—just a chance to survive, just a hand to help us endure.

I appeal to you from the depths of my heart: help me feed my family, care for my father, and support those around me in this humanitarian catastrophe. Every donation, no matter how small, means life to us."
