“Every day, I walk with hope — and return with empty hands. My brothers wait for food, but the kitchen runs out. The war didn’t just destroy our home… it shattered our lives.”
My name is Adnan, and I live in Gaza. I am not only a father to my only son, but also the main caretaker of my three younger brothers. Since the war began, we’ve been struggling to survive every single day — not just from hunger, but from the absence of safety, dignity, and peace.

Like thousands of other families in Gaza, the war turned our lives upside down.
We lost our home, our neighborhood, our sense of stability.
We live now in temporary, unstable shelter. Every day is a battle for the basics — food, water, medicine. I go to the public kitchen to bring something back for the children… and often return with nothing but apologies.

The war has affected my brothers deeply:
One of them suffered a serious injury.
The others are showing signs of malnutrition and weakness.
All of them are emotionally drained from the sounds of explosions, fear, and constant uncertainty.
With no income, and with skyrocketing prices, I cannot provide them with proper food, hygiene products, or even a decent place to use the toilet. We are living in conditions no human being should endure — especially children.

But I’m still trying. Still standing for them.

That’s why I’m reaching out to you — to the people of the world who care, who still believe in human dignity and solidarity.

What We Need Now:
A strong, weather-proof tent to protect us from the sun and wind
Nutritious meals and clean drinking water for my brothers and son
Basic hygiene products like soap, detergent, and disinfectants
A simple bathroom, so the children don’t have to suffer more indignity

This is not just about survival — it’s about restoring a small piece of normal life to a family that has lost everything.

We are not asking for comfort.
We are asking for dignity.
For a safe space.
For a chance to heal.
